Understanding the ADHD Brain

ADHD brains are often misunderstood in traditional education settings, appearing "zoned out" or "easily distracted".

In reality, ADHD brains have huge potential with the right help: they are fast, highly creative, and dislike boredom. ADHD brains can also achieve "hyperfocus" leading to deep levels of understanding when properly guided.

By making learning accessible and fun and leveraging the strengths of ADHD brains through a stimulating, child-centered approach, children can develop a positive relationship with the learning process and apply developed strategies to other areas of their learning.

Jane has been maths tutoring our child who has issues with dyscalculia and ADHD. Not only they enjoy the sessions but their test results at school have improved by about 40%! Jane is a warm, fun, enthusiastic and skilled tutor who I have no hesitation in recommending.
Jane has been wonderful and such a positive influence with our daughter, not only helping her to read but also boosting her confidence in all subjects and teaching her ways to learn effectively. Highly recommended.
Jane is so skilled at what she does! Clearly an expert in working with children with specific challenges - an absolute game changer. Passionate, imaginative, knowledgeable, invested, enthusiastic and engaging. She has been a fantastic tutor for my children and I could not recommend her more highly.
