I have worked in education for many years as a KS2 teacher, coordinating both Maths and Science. I have also worked in research, with a Master's in Education and a PhD in Psychology. My work with theory and in practice allowed me to identify an important gap that exists between what psychologists and children understand about the brain and how it impacts mental health: In 2022, I developed the Brain Buddies Wellbeing Programme.

 In 2023, I was diagnosed with ADHD,  and began the development of Brain Buddies Tuition, helping children understand how to switch on their "Bouncy Brains". The Bouncy Brains Holiday Club extends that same approach, to launch this summer.

Last year, I trained with Barrett Coaching and Training, gaining an ILM Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring and am enjoying working with adults to develop the right environment for their brains.
